If I was to take this leap, would I feel like I was flying? Or would I just feel the cold grip of gravity? Pulling me down If I was to take this leap would I be pulled straight down? Or would I smash all our expectations and fly? And for how long could I fly on? If I were to succumb to our expectations Would the split second before the fall be worth it all? How would it feel? I guess there's only one way to find out.

Regurgitate 05:37
The multitudes scream in my face What I want is impossible As they regurgitate What their masters mouthpieces told them But I see no other way No I see no other way The path we are on leads to oblivion It's a path from which which we must stray Deep down we know we could be more But we're wired to want nothing Except what this system will bring forth Broken legs and then crutches to walk If ungrateful they'll cut out our tongues If ungrateful they'll cut out our tongues We're forced into a mold that amputates our souls Kept docile until thrown to the crows Spewing what's considered vile rhetoric Until it leaks through every crevice In these prison walls Reject the medication they force down our throats Kicking at the cracks until they turn into holes If we don't fight things will only get worse Are these crumbs all that we want from our time on this earth? Believe opinions issued are our own Repeat them with conviction We'll kiss monarchs feet, bow to the throne But still believe we're defiant Truly believe that we are free Truly believe that we are free But we never even thought of tugging on these chains Of coercive brutality If you speak out they'll make you pay But some still speak out anyway Just submitting would be a big mistake Silently digging our own graves We're burying ourselves alive We're burying ourselves alive Well let's use these spades to knock out the guards We'll make our escape and thrive

Consumerism centres, the churches of today These products are your idols, hoarded to the grave Each transaction a prayer with a blood sacrifice Try not to think about it, it's a necessary price These celebrities are your prophets, these papers your holy books Sermons transmitted into homes via the screens at which we look So never leave your house except for worship or to work Dare not stray from the path, that's where the devil lurks Every day is a sabbath day, they have ways to make you pray Every day is a sabbath day, every day they dig more graves Quotas to fill, demons to kill Blood to spill, blood to spill Nothing outside of this religion exists It's the devil's work if you see something that don't fit And all of his work must be eliminated We'll treat any heretics as if they are sick So this is your cathedral of plastic, glass and steel Private land in private hands, no ability to feel Tearing at the flesh, tearing at the soul Tearing at everything, turning hearts to stone

No connection to the land, rot away inside Rot away inside, I guess this is modern life If I saw the forest fall would I feel anything at all? Would I see anything at all? I don't even see it fall Out of sight and out of mind, why should I care? Why should I care? there are supermarkets everywhere Convenience and privilege but still there's a void Deep down there's a void that I try hard to avoid No connection, we are landless History unspoken, history forgotten No connection, this land was stolen History unspoken, history forgotten Avoid the pain by acting just like a machine Just like a machine, connect to a computer screen No room for emotion, desensitized to the core Desensitized to the core, I don't feel anything anymore Displace the population, exploit the land for all it's worth Exploit the land for all it's worth, only see money in this earth Keep on expanding, keep calm and carry on Keep calm and carry on until everything is gone No connection, we are landless History unspoken, history forgotten No connection, this land was stolen History unspoken, history forgotten This land is not my land This house is not my home I will shut out the pain I'll keep distracted Disconnect my brain But this food, this food I eat And this air, this air I breathe It comes from, it comes from this earth And it's reminding me every time I bite And every time I breathe

Void 04:40
The snake eats its tail, the war is already lost As we drown in our egos all hope turns to dust We're aiming our guns at our own feet Pulling the trigger, stuck on repeat It seems every answer that is proposed Is just part of the problem but we'll just buy what we're sold I don't know what's right, I just know we're all wrong Swallowing doctrine, autonomy gone The only utopia that I can see Is a cabin in the woods just the forest and me And it's there I will die with my stomach empty Domesticated and bitter, pathetic, ugly The only solace is in the abyss Meaningless, barren, void, bliss

about

Recorded over a period of about 2 years in houses, squats, housing-co-ops, wherever was convenient. Took so long due to frustration of the songs not sounding how they do in my head and I'd scrap the project, go off from it for months and then come back and try again. Many lessons were learned.
Songs about that moment just before you decide whether to take a big risk or not, regurgitating the same old shit again and again because we have to, it's important (but should probably keep working on new ways to say it!), how consumerism has become the dominant religion, how we're disconnected from our environment through modern life and technology and finally about those moments when you give up hope on everyone, feel like you wanna just curl up into a ball and everyone to fuck off and leave you alone.
